George Watts Hill Alumni Center - Addition and Renovation

Description: UNC-Chapel Hill is seeking statements of qualifications from architect-led teams for the renovation of the George Watts Hill Alumni Center and Carolina Club, together totaling approximately 68,750 square feet, and a new approximately 27,500-square-foot addition for the UNC Visitors Center and Admissions Offices. The requested services include architecture, civil/site, building-envelope, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire-protection, telecommunications, structural, and cost-estimation disciplines. The project has $5.5 million in authority for advance planning services, and the selected firm may be retained for later design and construction at the University's option.
