The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is seeking building and construction waste, food‑waste compost, and green‑waste collection, disposal, and composting services. The Contractor shall furnish all supplies, equipment, labor, and services necessary to collect all designated waste streams and transport them to a Waste‑to‑Energy (WTE) facility or other approved facilities for food‑waste and green‑waste composting.
Contractor shall provide containers according to the AOC Campus Wide Waste Collection and Disposal Services Schedule Spreadsheet (attached) and allow for changes in the schedule and container size based on periodic waste audit reviews and service demands. Task 1 – Waste Container / Compactor Requirements and Locations: The Contractor shall furnish all supplies, equipment, labor, and services necessary to collect waste and transport it to a Waste-to-Energy (WTE) facility. The Contractor shall provide the address of the WTE facility to which waste will be transported. The WTE facility shall be located within a fifty (50) mile radius of the U.S. Capitol Building. The Contractor shall also provide the address of the facility where ash generated by the WTE facility will be disposed. See attached file.
