26-002 - Howe Road Improvement Project RFP
This solicitation seeks construction bids to reconstruct a 1.25-mile stretch of Howe Road between North Avenue (SR-91) and Northeast Avenue (SR-261), replacing deteriorated concrete with asphalt. The roadway will be reconfigured within its 44-foot width for one travel lane in each direction, a two-way left-turn lane and new bike lanes. Work also includes a pedestrian island to shorten the Freedom Trail crossing and relocating fire hydrants toward the residential side.
