Summary
The estimated scope of work is summarized as follows: Interior: Universally accessible upgrades in the home's kitchen: Kitchen Renovation -The existing room layout and fixture locations remain the same: 1. Demolish/dispose of existing kitchen cabinets, counters, flooring, finishes and necessary drywall. Existing appliances will be saved and reused. 2. Supply and install cement board underlayment for new tile installation. 3. Supply and install new ceramic/porcelain tile at kitchen floor. 4. Supply and install new sink supply valves, trap, and other rough plumbing components. 5. Supply and install new stainless steel single bowl undermount sink with Single Handle Pulldown Sprayer Faucet. 6. Supply and install new kitchen cabinets in the same layout as existing. 7. Supply and install new base grade granite countertops. New countertops will be installed in same layout as existing. 8. Supply and install LED recessed lights to replace existing lighting. 9. Supply and install new GFCI protected outlets and electrical cover trim plates for all outlets and switches in kitchen. 10. All kitchen walls and ceiling will be primed and painted in a 2-coat application, color to be determined by owner. 11. Supply and install ceramic/porcelain tile backsplash between counter and upper cabinets. 12. Install owner provided appliances (existing or new as per owner decision) in existing locations. Exterior Window and Door Replacement: Current windows and doors have outlived their useful life. The seals have started breaking, allowing for leaks and drafts. It has also become more difficult to open and close them. We would like to remove the existing exterior doors and windows, and skylights and replace them with new doors and windows. All caulking, flashing, and sealant will be replaced, and the interior trim will be removed and reinstalled. 1. Replace rear entry door 36" x 80" 2. Replace rear slider door 96" x 80" 3. Replace front entry door 36" x 80" 4. Replace (2) skylights above kitchen, replace in kind.
