FY 26 Fire Owyhee Fuelbreak Seeding

Description: The Bureau of Land Management is soliciting services to aerially seed 1,013 acres in the Owyhee Desert of the Winnemucca District in Humboldt County, Nevada. The contractor must provide its own equipment, supplies, and materials; use BLM-specified seed at required application rates; achieve uniform coverage; and avoid ground disturbance because of Wilderness Study Areas and sensitive cultural resources. This is a small-business-set-aside solicitation with performance scheduled from September 15, 2026, through January 30, 2027, and offers due August 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
