Description: Status: OPEN FOR BIDS The City of Kewanee invites proposals for the supply and delivery of diesel fuel (summer and 50/50 winter blend) and unleaded gasohol (89 octane gasoline blended with 10% ethanol) for a one-year contract from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2027. One contract will be awarded to cover both gasoline and diesel fuel. Bid Documents: Request for Fuel Supply Bids 2027 (posted November 3, 2026). Includes the bid sheet. Plan Holder Registration: Register as a plan holder to receive addenda for this bid by email. Registration is not required to bid, but addenda are emailed only to registered plan holders. Key Dates: Posted: Tuesday, November 3, 2026 Bid opening: Wednesday, November 18, 2026, 10:00 AM, Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 401 East Third Street Award (anticipated): City Council, Monday, November 23, 2026 What Is Being Bid: - Gasohol/gasoline: 35,000 gallons (estimated) - Summer blend diesel: 9,000 gallons (estimated) - Winter blend diesel: 5,500 gallons (estimated) - Off-road/farm blend diesel: 2,000 gallons (estimated) - Delivery to the Public Works Yard, Cemetery, Wastewater Treatment Plant and Solid Waste Station, three lift stations, City Hall and North Fire Station, as listed in the RFP.
