Description: The task areas may also be referred to as primary domains: Area A: Data Collection and Acquisition: Administrative & Finance Data: gather comprehensive transportation data including motor fuel, motor vehicle registration, driver license, and highway finance data from Federal, State, and local governments both manual and automated extraction and loading. Infrastructure data: gather highway data covering all physical features such as those specified in the Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS). Traffic data: gather traffic data including volume, class, weight, speed, travel time, and origin destination (OD) data from both public entities and private businesses. Travel behavior data: gather travel behavior data through household travel surveys and other surveys and valid methods. Condition and performance data: gather highway condition and performance data from both public and private domains. Future data: gather, obtain, and forecast future travel demand, condition, and performance. Integrated data: Integrated data to enable systematic usage and achieve the goal of collecting once and use by many and for many purposes. See attached file.
