Ferris Demonstration Area Crop Production RFP

Description: The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks is seeking bids to establish approximately 110.39 acres of crop production on three adjoining tracts at the Ferris Demonstration Area in McPherson County. The one-year contract may be renewed for three additional three-year periods, and award will be based on the highest share offered to the department. The contractor will perform crop-production and custom-farming services while controlling noxious weeds, following permit and chemical requirements, and observing restrictions on double-cropping and insecticide use.
