FCI Three Rivers - Cooling-Tower and Closed-Loop Water Treatment Services RFP

Description: The preliminary scope includes: chemical treatment of evapco cooling-tower condenser systems supporting approximately 1,905 tons of air-conditioning capacity. Treatment intended to control scale, corrosion, fouling, and biological growth. Twice-monthly servicing of the cooling-tower treatment program. Monthly servicing of chilled-water, hot-water, and combined chilled/hot-water closed-loop systems. Testing of closed-loop systems for proper inhibitor levels. Filter changes and addition of chemical inhibitors as required. Furnishing all required treatment chemicals, chemical feeders, filters, equipment, testing materials, and related supplies. Sampling and laboratory analysis. Annual inspections and specified chemical cleanings. Written service reports, test results, chemical-use information, trend analysis, and corrective recommendations. Routine service-call response within 24 hours of notification. On-site response within eight hours for a critical life-safety emergency.
