Facility Improvement Project: Water Treatment Facility Building Demolition (Request for Proposals)
Work includes demolition and disposal: demolish and remove the designated building, including its concrete floor slab, foundations, and footings. The concrete floor slab's thickness is unknown. Remove all demolition debris from the site and dispose of it at facilities authorized to accept the material. Site restoration: backfill excavations with suitable clean material, compact to prevent settlement, and restore the area to match surrounding grades and maintain drainage. Apply mulch or a comparable erosion-control material approved by the town to stabilize disturbed ground. Protection and coordination: coordinate utility disconnections with the town before demolition. Protect operating plant facilities, utilities, and adjacent improvements throughout the work.
