Description: The City of Gulfport, Mississippi is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of the Interconnecting Gulfport – Airport Road Extension & Interstate 10 Overpass project, a federally-funded (BUILD Grant) work, Federal Aid Project Number FBLD-9159-00(001)LPA/108419-801000, comprising approximately 3 miles of new roadway from Old Highway 49 northward across the CPKC railroad, then across Interstate 10 via an overpass to an extension of Daniel Boulevard. The work includes clearing and grubbing, earthwork, drainage, concrete sidewalk, bridge work over I-10, asphalt paving with cement/stone base, striping, signage, and roadway lighting. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on August 17, 2026, and bids must be submitted no later than 10:00 a.m. on August 27, 2026, to the City of Gulfport Purchasing Office in the Jones Building at 1422 23rd Avenue, Gulfport, Mississippi, or electronically via the City’s plan room at www.gulfportmsbids.com.
