Engineering Services: Public Safety Building HVAC Upgrade

Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland, Maryland are soliciting bids for the project: ENGINEERING SERVICES: PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING HVAC UPGRADE CITY PROJECT NO. 2022-11-PBLD Completed bids shall be submitted to the City of Cumberland's online solicitation website, until but not after 2:00 p.m., local time, on 10/21/2026. Proposals will be virtually released at 2:00 p.m. on that date and available to view on the website. Released bid information does not constitute any award has been made. This project includes: · Development of construction contract documents to perform repairs of the HVAC system for the Public Safety Building for the City of Cumberland · The project design shall include, but not limited to: o The replacement of chillers and boilers o Replacement of VAV Terminals o Upgrade of the existing ATC System o Replacement of Air Handling Equipment Components o Gas Detection and Monitoring System o New Prisoner Processing Area with supporting HVAC equipment · All work shall be designed to meet or exceed the requirements of the Maryland Building Energy Performance Standards A "Mandatory PREBID SESSION" for the purpose of answering or obtaining answers to questions of parties interested in performing the work, relative to construction details, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on 10/7/2026 in the City Hall, 57 N. Liberty Street, Cumberland, MD. The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to waive any technicalities and to reject any or all bids, and to accept any or all proposals which in their judgment is to the best interest of the City.
