End of the World Long Term Stewardship
The Forest Service is requesting proposals for the End of the World G-Z Long-Term Integrated Resource Stewardship Contract, covering a project area of about 50,000 acres in the Salmon River Ranger District, with commercial treatment authorized on more than 17,000 acres. Work would thin overstocked stands to reduce catastrophic-wildfire risk and improve forest health, while providing a steady supply of timber and forest products to local facilities. The acquisition is unrestricted, and proposals are to be submitted by email to Mark Phillipp and Matt Daigle by the stated deadline.
