Emigrant Rest Area Rehab (Request for Qualifications)

Description: Design-Build The decision between these two approaches will be based on an evaluation of current conditions - including structural integrity, source water, septic systems, and other key components - compared against future needs and potential resource constraints. This effort will follow a phased approach. Phase 1 will determine whether rehabilitation or full reconstruction is the most appropriate path forward. If rehabilitation is selected, the chosen consultant may be retained to prepare plans and specifications for a future construction contract at the emigrant rest area. If reconstruction is deemed the better option, a design-build delivery method may be considered for the subsequent phase. Should mdt pursue an alternative delivery method for phase 2, any firm participating in phase 1 will be prohibited from competing as part of the alternative delivery team.
