Improvements to the existing pedestrian and multi-use trail system within landing park and adjoining areas. Work includes removal of 2 portions of the existing asphalt trail, boardwalk, and other existing improvements; construction of a new concrete multi-use trail, generally 10 FT in width with transitions to 6 feet at constrained locations; connections to existing sidewalks, trails, parking areas, and the existing pedestrian bridge; associated grading, drainage, culvert, crosswalk, ADA accessibility, and site restoration improvements. Project also includes construction and modification of the park parking area, including concrete pavement, 28 standard and 10 ADA parking spaces, pavement markings, signage, accessible routes, and connections. Additional work includes storm drainage improvements, a rain garden, water and utility improvements, erosion and sediment control, tree protection and selective removal, landscaping and planting, and restoration of all areas disturbed by construction.
