Provide construction manager at risk (cmar) services for the above project. The scope of the work will include pre-construction and construction-phase services. The district plans to replace and modernize classrooms to meet 21st-century learning standards, enhance adaptability and flexibility, and expand air conditioning throughout Drexler Middle School. This will be a phased approach to maintain the current number of classrooms during the initial phases and to expand by an additional 8-10 classrooms over the current state. Other improvements include expanding the kitchen and cafeteria/commons area to meet current needs, improving internal building circulation, and preparing for future growth. The wrestling room addition will relocate the existing program from the current storage building presently on the property. Lastly, a new office and a secure entrance are proposed to improve wayfinding, security, and building circulation. The master plan also identifies potential expansion areas to consider.
