DJJ-Lake Cumberland YDC Electrical Kitchen & Generator Upgrades (Request for Bids)

Description: The federal pacific switchgear including panels, contractors and disconnects will be removed and replaced per the national electrical code. In addition, a standby emergency generator will be installed to provide backup power of the old weld shop building which serves power for the sewage treatment plant. The contractor shall provide new concrete for access to the generator, as well as the propane storage tank with concrete-filled pipe bollard protection. The owner s preferred daily work schedule shall be monday-friday 8 hour/day. There are no contractor working days on saturday-sunday. A 48 hour notification is required for any outage of any existing utility including the chilled water and heating water systems. Any damaged utility by the contractor must be put back into service immediately.
