Description: Cold shrink deadbreak tee body with shear bolt lug, 1/0-250kcmil cable range, 35kv, 600a. Shall meet or exceed the requirements of ieee std. 386 as last revised. Each body shall be production tested for partial discharge, ac withstand, and dc impulse testing per ieee 386. Capable of accepting copper or aluminum; longitudinally corrogated tape, or wire shielded cables. A cable preparation template shall be included for both. Does not require a cable adapter or any additional heat source for installation. Shall include a capacitive test point, bi-metal shear bolt lug, a 35kv insulating plug with cap, a 36 inch length solderblocked grounding braid, and constant force spring. Shear bolt lug shall feature stepless shear-off bolts with no predetermined shear-off points to ensure the correct shear off torque will be achieved. The shear bolt lug inner tube surface shall feature transverse grooves, and shall be pre-loaded with inhibitor. The lug shall have centering rings to minimize risk of voltage stress at the transition from the lug body to the cable insulation. The shear bolt shall feature a friction disc in the bottom to allow for independent contact force of aluminum and copper conductors. No substitute, 33 each.
