The purpose of this contract is to remove and dispose of all FEMA eligible debris from town maintained right of ways (ROW). The work shall consist of clearing, separating, and removing any and all eligible debris, including ROW of streets and roads. Work shall include: (1) examining and sorting debris to determine whether or not debris is eligible; (2) loading and sorting the debris; (3) hauling the eligible debris to an approved Debris Site. Ineligible debris shall not be loaded, hauled, or dumped under this contract.

Qualified firms to monitor the removal, processing, and lawfully disposal of disaster generated debris (other than hazardous materials and household putrescible garbage) from public property, public rights-of-way, and private roadways in unincorporated Hendry County, the City of Clewiston, and the City of LaBelle in response to an emergency event such as, but not limited to, hurricane(s) or other natural or manmade disasters. Vendors must have the capability and ability to rapidly respond to wide scale debris volumes typically produced in hurricanes, tornadoes, and other disaster types as well as small scale debris volumes.
