Description: The over-arching strategy involves the use of this 5-year BAA to quickly and efficiently execute R&D to identify, explore, and demonstrate new technologies and capabilities that will help enable CWMD and stakeholders to prevent, protect against, respond to, and mitigate nuclear, chemical, radiological, and biological threats and incidents. This strategy will provide DHS an acquisition tool with the flexibility to solicit proposals and make awards to provide innovative solutions to countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), as ever-changing urgent operational issues and capability gaps are identified.
