Designated Repository Development

The Contractor shall supply (or create) an API (Application Programming Interface) or similar function that would enable the eGMS (Electronic Grants Management System) to upload articles and metadata into the designated repository. The Contractor shall assign a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to each article. The Contractor shall create an NEH-branded portal page that the public could use for searching the funded papers within the repository. The Contractor shall undertake outreach activities to promote awareness of the repository to constituents, such as colleges, universities, and scholarly societies. The Contractor shall maintain the repository over the course of the contract and ensure it meets certain standards. The Contractor shall provide and review annually a system security plan that addresses the security of web sites, the API, and other repository resources used for storage. See outside linked file.
