Summary
The University of Toronto has issued a Request for Proposals (Solicitation P300-25-001 DB RFP) for design-build services to deliver Central Utility Plant 2 (CUP2), a new standalone, geo-exchange-based district energy facility at its Mississauga campus. CUP2 will provide resilient, low-carbon heating, cooling, and normal/emergency power to the western portion of the campus and support the University's climate-positive operations target by 2050. The RFP is open only to proponents shortlisted under the preceding Request for Supplier Qualifications (P300-25-001 DB RFSQ), with submissions due via the University's Bonfire portal.
