Department of Homeland Security (DHS) - Department-Wide Cloud (Cumulus) Multiple Award Solicitation

Description: The scope of this SOW allows for task order awards to be established which enable DHS to dynamically consume cloud services from CSPs in both commercial and government with established records for innovation (i.e., Technical Agility) and operational excellence in cloud service delivery (i.e., Cloud Maturity) in a utility consumption based computing model, supporting financial tracking and forecasting. Acquiring services from CSPs, rather than developing those services in-house, has been shown to scale faster to meet DHS compute needs, to facilitate the adoption of innovation occurring in the commercial marketplace, satisfy the rigorous performance and security requirements of DHS while allowing DHS consumers to focus on mission delivery. This IDIQ award and subsequent task orders will focus on modernizing and innovating DHS systems and software through cloud-based solutions, emphasizing microservices, APl-driven frameworks, mobile extensibility, container strategies, and standardized, portable environments.
