Demolition Services RFP

Description: Demolition services to assist with demolition and disposal of all materials, and restoration of the ground from the City's two water storage materials in accordance with accepted state and federal regulations. Demolition and removal of two water storage buildings. Both buildings have basements. Removal must be to a qualified and licensed sanitary disposal site. Restoration of the ground area including the filling of the area to meet City specifications and seeding of the area. Related traffic control. Proper actions to prevent unwanted runoff of soil, debris, and other materials from the project site to public land including the right-of-way. This includes prevention during the demolition work and after the demolition. The intent of this item is not to require monitoring and maintenance on behalf of the contractor beyond the completion of the project. The contractor should install proper controls to prevent future run off but long-term maintenance is not required.
