Federal Liaison (Request for Proposal)
Seeking for federal liaison.
Description: Provide deaf community liaison services; meet regularly with members of the deaf community through one-on-one meetings, small-group discussions, community meetings, and other appropriate forums to identify questions, concerns, priorities, and barriers; establish accessible methods through which members of the deaf community may raise concerns, ask questions, or request assistance; document significant issues and concerns raised by community members and provide appropriate information to the city council while respecting the privacy of individuals seeking assistance; participate in listening sessions and/or legislative forums with the deaf community at least once annually and provide the city council with a summary of issues, concerns, and recommendations resulting from those sessions.
