The City of Statesboro Planning & Development Department is seeking qualified firms, developers, and organizations to serve as a development partner for housing activities funded through the Georgia Department of Community Affairs' Community HOME Investment Program (CHIP), making this a development-partner procurement rather than a grant application. The selected partner will help implement six new-construction homeownership units for low-income households, including development planning, site coordination, construction oversight, and contractor procurement. The work also requires compliance with CHIP, fair-housing and related requirements, permitting, reporting, recordkeeping, stakeholder meetings, and demonstrated affordable-housing experience and financial capacity.
