DART JS Ion Source System with High Throughput Sampling (HTS) *SOLE SOURCE* RFP

Description: Requires the acquisition of a DART JS Ion Source System with High Throughput Sampling (HTS) for use with Thermo Exploris mass spectrometers. This instrumentation improves rapid ambient ionization capabilities, enhances throughput, and supports mission critical chemical exposure assessment research. The technology reduces helium consumption by 95% and provides rapid screening of samples with minimal preparation. The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain a DART JS Ion Source System with High Throughput Sampling (HTS) to support long term chemical analysis and rapid screening of chemicals of concern in workplace settings. The system will directly enhance NIOSH research capabilities for monitoring and characterizing substances such as PFAS, pesticides, PAHs, chemicals present in oil drilling fluids, and other analytes currently under investigation within CBMB.
