Curtain Cleaning And Installation RFP

Description: Curtain transportation and cleaning: The contractor must coordinate with the Government Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) to schedule pickup of all curtains currently stored at the Government-designated warehouse. The contractor must provide all transportation necessary to safely collect and transport the curtains from the storage warehouse to the contractor's cleaning facility and subsequently to the Home of the Commandant. The contractor must professionally clean all curtains prior to installation using cleaning methods appropriate for the type, age, construction, and condition of each curtain. The contractor must inspect the curtains prior to cleaning to identify existing stains, damage, deterioration, discoloration, loose seams, damaged hardware, or other conditions that may affect cleaning or installation. The contractor must notify the Government TPOC of any pre-existing damage or condition that could affect the cleaning, handling, or installation of a curtain prior to performing work that could potentially worsen the condition.
