The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, transportation, and incidentals necessary to remove and replace two existing garage doors at the Grounds Storage Building, Coast Guard Academy, New London, Connecticut. The work includes removal and offsite disposal of the existing doors, tracks, hardware, fasteners, and associated components; furnishing and installing two new white flush-panel glazed garage doors of the same size and configuration, including new tracks, rollers, hinges, brackets, cables, torsion springs, bearings, mounting hardware, weather seals, locks, and related operating components; verifying existing framing and mounting surfaces; aligning, leveling, balancing, lubricating, and testing the doors for proper operation; and demonstrating proper operation to the Government upon completion. All work shall be performed in accordance with manufacturer instructions, applicable building codes, OSHA safety requirements, and industry standards, and the completed doors shall be fully operational, securely mounted, weather-tight, and free of defects.
