Description: DESIGN BUILD: Replace the 525-kV series capacitor banks. Design-Build proposal shall include engineering design, manufacturing and/or procurement, construction, and commissioning of equipment by removing and replacing the existing series capacitor banks with new and in-kind series capacitor banks (no changes to series capacitor size, rating, segmentation, and line compensation level) and ancillary equipment such as but not limited to breakers, line and ground motor-operated disconnect switches and protection and control devices.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the design and construction of array structures, photovoltaic panels, mounting and racking systems, electrical distribution infrastructure, utility interconnections, permitting, maintenance of traffic, and all other components required for a complete and functional installation. The Design-Builder shall provide signed and sealed construction plans for the photovoltaic systems and all associated components.
