Fire Station Water Service Line Replacement and Valve Installation (Request for Quotes)
Work includes replacement of a water service line and valve installation (inclusive of asphalt and concrete excavation); asphalt excavation and valve installation: sawcut the existing asphalt to dig a trench down to the 6" water line. Cut the line to install a new water gate valve and a valve box set to grade, followed by backfilling and repaving the excavated area once installation is complete; mechanical room and water line replacement: sawcut and excavate the concrete floor in the mechanical room to remove the existing 4" and 6" water lines. Excavate up to 30 LF of water line to replace the old galvanized piping with a new plastic water line that runs under the pathway. See attached file.
