Construct North Unit Visitor Center at BADL - Invitation for Bid

Description: Construct new north unit visitor center. This is a project to construct a new visitor center on the south side of badlands loop road located between the old ben reifel visitor center and the cedar pass lodge. A development concept plan was initiated to improve visitor experience, management capabilities, and park facilities at the cedar pass area by creating a plan for redevelopment of the area that is consistent with the character-defining aspects of the associated historic district and cultural landscape and will protect the fragile resources in the area. The intent is to implement and provide a facility to serve over 1 million visitors annually that instills a meaning of place to the visitor when visiting the park by focus of optimizing the visitor interaction with the buttes and other natural resources of the park.
