Conference Room Renovations at the Frances Perkins Building

Description: The Design-Build Contractor shall provide architectural and engineering (A/E) services for Suite N1649, providing Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire & Life Safety design documents and as-built drawings. The successful contractor shall engage a professionally licensed and registered A/E firm to survey the site and provide design calculations, construction documents, and as-built drawings for the project. The scope for Suite N1649 Conference Room is to remove the existing ceiling and carpet; provide a new reflected ceiling with new lights, HVAC diffusers, remount speaker, WIFI device and fire alarm strobes; relocate sprinkler heads as necessary to meet code and perform testing and certification; provide asbestos abatement as needed; remove existing floor utility monuments and provide flush mounted floor outlets; patch, prime and paint walls and install new cove base and carpet, keeping the existing walls; sand and stain the wooden door; repaint the door frame; provide new electrical power and IT locations, as needed. Renovations to the suite will focus on new lighting design elements, provide new window treatments to reduce heat from the sun and support daylighting, carpet and cove base replacement, and other enhancements that will contribute to a modern and visually appealing space.
