Concrete Surface Preparation and Polyaspartic Floor Coating Installation - (Request for Proposals)

Description: Removal of existing floor coatings, concrete surface preparation, repair, and installation of a polyurea / polyaspartic flake floor coating system (Evolution Flake). The contractor shall complete: Surface preparation - Remove excess media broadcast and existing coatings. Diamond grind/profile concrete for proper adhesion. Profile cracks and imperfections. Concrete Repair - Apply two-part mender crack and pit repair. Grind repairs smooth to match surrounding surface. Coating System installation - Apply polyurea basecoat. Broadcast acrylic flake chips to rejection. Remove excess flakes and prepare surface. Apply polyaspartic topcoat. Apply resistance sprayon coating. Install Tek Grip slip-resistant additive (4 oz per gallon). Vertical surfaces - Apply coating system to designated vertical surfaces where required. Project areas: Area 1 - Apparatus Floor, Gear Room, Janitor Area/Bathroom, EMS Supply Room, Tool Room. Area: 8,237 SF. Concrete Condition: Fair. Coating Removal: 8,000 SF. Concrete Repair (Mender): 1,000 units. Vertical Coatings: 75 LF. Area 2 - Kitchen Area. Area: 600 SF. Existing Surface: Terrazzo (must be ground off). Concrete Repair (Mender): 100 units. Vertical Coatings: 30 LF.
