This project includes the repair, replacement, and improvement of infrastructure at the Northwest Water Treatment Facility (NWTF) and Semper Water Treatment Facility (SWTF). The primary goal of this project is to upgrade process equipment, structural elements, and supporting infrastructure to extend the operational lifespan of the City’s two water treatment facilities and support their long-term performance and reliability.
Emmetsburg Municipal Utilities Board
Emmetsburg Municipal Utilities (EMU) will be publishing a request for statements of qualifications (RFQs) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services to provide Construction services for Water Treatment Facility Improvements. The Project will consist of improvements to the existing Water Treatment Facility consisting of: Existing pressure filter rehabilitation; Cast in place concrete storage tanks; Precast concrete building; Reverse osmosis (RO) equipment; Site work; Process pumps, piping, and electrical; Backwash waste tank conversion into a lift station and forcemain; New supply well with submersible pump.
Polk County
Provide Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) services for the preconstruction and construction phase services at the Polk County Northwest Regional (NWRWWTF) and Southwest Regional (SWRWWTF) Wastewater Treatment Facilities to facilitate construction of membrane bioreactors, dewatering systems, and related infrastructure.
City of Cedar Rapids
Work generally consists of demolition of two (2) lime slakers and aging tanks, installation of two (2) new slakers and aging tanks, relocation of two (2) lime slurry pumps and related equipment, removal and replacement of eight (8) load cells for the lime silos, removal and replacement of two (2) lime silo activators, installation of water heaters for the lime slakers and all related appurtenances.
