Description: The organization seeks AWS-native or AWS-aligned solutions that replace SAS 9.4 M7 functionality without requiring SAS Viya or SAS-dependent products, including: Data-Lake Storage and Tiered Archival: Amazon S3 — for the 35 TB holdings, including the ~85% historical/archival. DataIngestion and ETL/ELT: AWS Glue (with the Glue Data Catalog) and AWS Lambda — replacing SAS DATA steps and macro-driven workflows.; Statistical Computing and Analytics: Amazon SageMaker Al (Python/R notebooks), Amazon Athena, and Amazon EMR — with SAS-procedure parity.; Scheduling and Orchestration: Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA), AWS Step Functions, and Amazon EventBridge — for batch jobs.; Relational Database: Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL (with AWS DMS) — supporting the SQL Server-to-PostgreSQL migration.; Dashboarding and Reporting: Amazon Quick— comparable to SAS Visual Analytics.
