Miscellaneous ADA Curb Ramp Replacements Project
Replacement of 14 ADA curb ramps at various intersections in the Borough in the Base Bid. All ADA curbs will be replaced. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: reconstruction of four (4) Type B catch basins; removal and replacement of 750 LF of 9x18 Portland cement concrete curbs; removal of 250 SY of existing concrete sidewalks and driveway aprons; installation of 250 SY of 4" thick, NJDOT Class B concrete sidewalks; installation of 115 SY of 6” thick, NJDOT Class B, reinforced, concrete ADA landings and aprons; installation of eighteen (18) cast-iron 2'x4' detectable warning surfaces; and, placement of 500 SY of top soil (4" thick), seed, and salt hay. Other work required includes sign replacement and removal and replacement of traffic striping and markings. An ADD ALTERNATE includes the replacement of an additional three (3) ADA curb ramps.
