City of Santa Cruz Lifeguard Headquarters Repairs RFP

Description: The existing Lifeguard Headquarters facility located at 1 Municipal Wharf, Santa Cruz, CA 95060 requires near-term repairs to protect personnel, maintain operational continuity, and preserve the City’s ability to provide effective marine and public safety services. The Moffatt & Nichol “Santa Cruz Wharf Lifeguard Building Inspection” memo dated February 16, 2026 attached to the RFQ as Exhibit A provides a list of repairs necessary to bring the facility into a safe and operationally ready condition while longer-term planning for future use and possible expansion proceeds.   The Project consists of the following Tasks:   Task 1    Preparation of a 30% completion level Building Permit Plan Set. Task 2   Preparation of a 100% completion level Building Permit Plan Set and Project Specifications. Task 3   Provision of a cost estimate to construct the Project. Task 4  Provision of  bid support during the bidding process. Task 5   Provision of construction support during construction. Task 6 Provision of As-Built Drawings and Annotated Project Specifications upon completion of the Project.
