Pace Street Floodplain Restoration (Request for Proposal)
The intent of this project is to restore and improve the function of the existing floodplain by removing accumulated sediment, improving drainage capacity, and stabilizing disturbed areas to reduce future erosion and maintenance needs. The project is a one-time construction effort at a defined location and includes all work necessary to achieve a complete and functional restored floodplain. The work includes, but is not limited to: excavation and removal of accumulated sediment; grading and shaping of the floodplain; hauling and proper disposal of excavated materials; installation of erosion control measures; placement of riprap or other stabilization materials; establishment of vegetative ground cover and site restoration.
