City Attorney Services (RFP)

The City Attorney is the chief Legal Counsel for the City and as such will be responsible for advising on all legal matters. Represent and provide legal advice and consultation on a daily basis to the City Council, City Manager and City Staff as requested or required. Contact is usually made by email or telephone and same-day response is typically expected. Attendance at regular City Council meetings is required and attorney must be prepared to advise the Council on matter on the agenda as well as procedural or substantive issues that arise during the meeting. Recommend policies and procedures that comply with the requirements of the law. Keep the City Council and City Manager informed of legislation and/or judicial opinions that have potential impact to the City.
