Church Street and Maple Street Asphalt Mill and Overlay RFP

Description: The project consists of milling approx. 2" of existing asphalt pavement and replacing it with approx. 2" of new hot-mix asphalt pavement. The existing roadway consists of two 11' travel lanes, for a total paved roadway width of approx. 22'. The proposed asphalt mix shall be a 4 LT mix design, subject to confirmation of the applicable Wisconsin Department of Transportation specifications and project requirements. The project includes the following road segments: Church Street - Limits: Elm Street to Maple Street. Approx. length: 293 LF. Existing roadway: Two 11' travel lanes. Existing paved shoulders: Approx. 2' on one side. Approx. 10' on the opposite side. Work: Mill and remove approx. 2" of existing asphalt and replace with approx. 2" of new 4 LT hot-mix asphalt. The contractor shall verify all existing roadway dimensions, project limits, and field conditions before submitting a bid. Maple Street. Limits: County Road J to County Road A. Length: Contractor shall verify the total length of this segment in the field and provide a unit-price bid based on the actual measured quantities. Existing roadway: Two 11' travel lanes.
