Texas Workforce Commission
The TWC CCEI Program offers funding for new child care centers. The purpose of the CCEI Program is to increase the supply of high-quality child care across Texas. The CCEI Program supports Eligible Child Care Providers. The CCEI Program includes two (2) separate awards (Start-Up Awards and Initial Operating Awards) to offset costs for new child care centers.
Chatham-Kent
The Municipality of Chatham‑Kent’s Child Care and Early Years Division seeks information from eligible not‑for‑profit licensed child care agencies to design and plan the expansion of child care within a local long‑term care home, potentially including extended hours for shift workers. The Municipality may move forward with an interested operator to run full‑day child care programs (Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers, and/or Family Groupings) by December 2026 at 315 King Street West, Chatham, Ontario.
Texas Department of Family and Protective Services
The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services is seeking applications from licensed Child Placing Agencies for 24-hour Residential Child Care services. This open enrollment is for both in-state and out-of-state agencies to provide care, custody, supervision, assessment, training, education, and treatment services for children in DFPS care. Current contractors must complete a recertification application by December 19, 2023.
