Cellulose Blown-in Insulation RFP

Description: Installation of approx 6" of cellulose blown-in insulation in the main dining hall, kitchen, bathroom, and rear truck bay to achieve an R49 insulation value throughout. The area is roughly 3,800 SF. The contractor will be required to install measuring sticks for visual confirmation of the insulation depth. Additionally, the contractor must add 1x3 furring strips, spaced 24" on center, to the underside of the existing roof truss to support the additional load. The contractor will need to remove and reinstall the existing drop ceiling as necessary to accommodate the installation of these furring strips.
