The North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management, seeks qualified design-builders to manage structure-elevation projects in Carteret County. The contractor will oversee construction before, during, and after elevation, obtain approved engineered designs, permits and inspections, and complete elevation certificates and occupancy or completion certificates. Completed sites must meet or exceed their pre-elevation condition and comply with local, state, and federal requirements.
