Camera and Objective Upgrades for Nikon Ti2 W1 Spi RFP
The Rusan Laboratory relies on advanced cellular imaging to study centrosomes and the cytoskeleton during mitosis and spermatogenesis. The laboratory currently operates a Nikon Ti2 W1 spinning-disc confocal microscope that is an established component of its imaging infrastructure. The camera currently installed on the system is approx. three technology generations old and has substantially lower quantum efficiency than current- generation scientific CMOS (sCMOS) cameras. The laboratory's increasing demand for low-light fluorescence imaging requires improved detector sensitivity, acquisition performance, and image quality. The laboratory therefore requires a current-generation sCMOS camera that can be integrated into the existing Nikon Ti2 W1 spinning-disc confocal system. See attached file.
