Resultant contracts or agreements should provide systems with a broad range of capabilities that directly support mission effectiveness in terms of platforms, payloads, ProcessingExploitation-Dissemination (PED), programming (i.e., firmware, software, and artificial intelligence (AI)), communications/data transfer, Command and Control (C2) systems,
components, and/or material to be acquired, developed, or already in use by NSWC, United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), the Department of War (DoW), or the U.S. Government, as well as interagency and FVEY partners.
The Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) issued a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) seeking unmanned systems (UxS) capabilities including "UxS as a service" and First Person View (FPV) platforms to support the Joint Force and Special Operations Forces. NSWC anticipates awarding FAR Part 12 contracts or Other Transaction Authority (OT) agreements to acquire platforms, payloads, PED, software/AI, communications, C2, and related services with an expected period of performance generally no greater than 12 months. The notice requests submissions in accordance with the CSO instructions and remains open through the stated response deadline.
