Work will safely remove existing structure, cap any existing utilities, shore up adjacent property walls, and prepare the property for future redevelopment. The historic building was destroyed by fire in 2014, was constructed in 1909 of unreinforced masonry, and shares common walls on both sides. The west side is to remain intact, and the east side is to be removed to the upper stories level of the shared wall.
