Bolstering Underutilized Industry by Leveraging Technology Transfer (BUILTT) for DOE

Description: This sources-sought notice invites small and medium-sized businesses to participate in DOE and NNSA’s BUILTT technology-transfer pilot. The program introduces a new technology transfer mechanism, the Cost Reduction License (CRL), which enables SMBs to manufacture and supply these technologies to DOE and other government agencies at a fair and reasonable price.

TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OPPORTUNITY: Method for Transferring a Spacecraft from Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit to Lunar Orbit (TOP2-272)
NASA's Technology Transfer Program invites companies to seek license rights to commercialize, manufacture, and market a spacecraft trajectory method developed at Ames Research Center. The method uses maneuvers and leading- or trailing-edge lunar flybys to send a controllable secondary payload from geosynchronous transfer orbit to lunar orbit, with flexible launch times and comparatively short transfer duration. NASA identifies rideshare cost reduction and applications including lunar exploration, lunar-orbit establishment, lunar observation, and space communications.
