Boiler Maintenance & Repair
The work on any boilers includes repair or replacement of refractory brick, plastic refractory, castable refractory, and special shape refractory; boiler tubes, burners and generators, and applicable valves. Other work includes performing "R" stamp welding, welding and resurfacing boiler hand-hole seats, boiler certification, work on distribution systems, work on auxiliary equipment, work on piping, work in and around buildings 29, 490, 553, 554 and 318. Add Open and have boiler ready for inspection. Remove safety valves for overhaul and inspection and reinstall once inspection is complete.
