Description: 72 EA of Boat topside stanchions. Fabrication: The contractor shall fabricate 72 stanchion assemblies in strict accordance with the requirements of Drawing TRK411-002-14A, "TOPSIDE LIFELINES STANCHIONS". This drawing shall be the primary document for all fabrication and assembly work. Materials: All materials used shall conform to those specified in the list of materials on Drawing TRK411-002-14A, Sheet 2 of 6. Any proposed material substitutions must be submitted in writing and approved by the Government's technical representative prior to use. Welding: All welding shall be performed in accordance with a suitable Government-approved procedure. Serial Numbering: Each stanchion assembly shall be identified with a unique serial number in accordance with MIL-STD-130 and drawing A2545-1.

Provide boat portage services for the temporary barriers project. The temporary barriers project, managed by the division of operations and maintenance (o&m) water initiatives planning and management branch (wipm), involves the annual installation of three (3) rock barriers in the south delta channels to mitigate the impacts of the state water project (swp) and central valley project on water levels for agricultural diversions. Two (2) of the three (3) barrier site�s locations require boat portage as the barriers block navigable channels and typically prevent boat passage from may through november of each year. Thus, boat portage is needed to trailer boats across the rock barriers.
